Also, education is definitely important as it compares you to the right group of people to get the correct relation = IQ. So this test is pretty much bollocks.

The BBC years ago did a 'National IQ Test' programme, which was all well and good but part of the test had phrase parts. Many of this I struggled on as I'd never heard the phrases before, certainly not regional ones. That's nothing to do with IQ, it's to do with knowledge. Even in this pathetic one there were a few words ones but rearraging the letters for form England makes no sense if your native language you call it Angleterre.

Yeah, that's right. I actually fell for questions like that on other tests before (even the "real" one in German, my mother tongue, got me there because of one word that has almost died out and was only used in agriculture; I didn't know the word and failed to notice the connection to a group of other words). I think there was a thread on VGC years ago about how IQ tests do not work with languages (by now I know there are "international tests" that leave out language to avoid the IQ vs knowledge stuff) but shouldn't include math as well as it's not working for all cultures equally. Quite interesting argument but I didn't follow that thread. But hey, sorry for the off-topic.
