| Psychotic said: Hi, I want to buy a new somewhat powerful computer, because my old one is just too slow these days. Basically the only games I play on my PC are old games and turn-based strategy games. Got a PS4 for everything else. I've spent countless hours on Football Manager, a game which needs to calculate a huge amount of stuff bethween turns and it takes forever. Other games include Civilization, Heroes of Might and Magic or XCOM - all turn-based strategies. I think it would make sense to supercharge ceratain HW parts while saving money on others for this type of games. Is it possible? Which HW parts should I drop? Any other advice? Edit: My spending budget would be around 1,000 USD. |
All of those games are pretty easy to run. You wouldn't even need to spend $600 to max them out.
Prediction for console Lifetime sales:
Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m
