To be honest everyone should be used to this by now. 90% of Multiplats look better on 360. Did anyone expect otherwise? As I posted yesterday Quake wars is the same. PS3 version has no AA or HDR. 360 does.

Actually it has nothing to do with the platform and everything to do with more development time. It's an updated version of the Unreal engine. Gears 2 will be using something that looks closer to this.

Seiner, just take the last 5, 10, 15 multi-plat games, and tell me now many look better on the 360 ;)

I didnt say it was the platforms fault, it's always been in the dev. It takes a good Developer to get both versions the same in the same time fram. GTA, COD4 both were equal. But the likes of AC, Quake Wars and SC4 all recently have same dev time but are reported better on 360. Of course it's devs fault, PS3 is a great machine. But my point was IF it was to go either way I'd expect nothing less usually than the 360 version looking better on multiplat.

I am not sure what you are trying to say here. Are you saying that ultimately multi-plat games could one day look better on the PS3, but so far they haven't?

Your statement implies that 9 out of ten multi-plat games look better on the 360, and that if they don't, they look the same.

I went 15 back, all the way back to Burnout Paradise. Of those 15, here is the breakdown:

Better on the PS3:

  • Burnout Paradise (everyone says this)
  • Devil May Cry 4 (From IGN Video review, I only looked up one source)

Better on the 360:

  • Conflict: Denied Ops (GameSpot)
  • FIFA Street 3 (GameSpot)
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2

The same.

  • Turok
  • The Club
  • Major League Baseball 2K8 (The both suck)
  • Army of Two
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (both bad)
  • Condemned 2: Bloodshot (I couldn't find anything on this, so I put it here).
  • Sega Superstars Tennis
  • Dark Sector

After doing all this looking up, one thing I would like to stress, is the only difference between any of these games is petty. They all look roughly the same. Other then The Orange Box and Madden, there has not been a multi-plat game that had a difference in performance that mattered at all.

It's not the 9 out of 10 (and then that 10th being the same) that you think it is.
