Ive a friend in the same situation but thankfully the only part of hers that is ddr4 dependant is the cpu, so shes just switching that out for a 3xxx or 4xxx series for op it looks like he can just return the unopened ram and get a refund, which is fortunate. |
Ahh... I see. Had a ThermalTake Level 10 GT at the heart of my build. Sadly, while I thought my check would come in, $3.5k was something I couldn't, and still cannot swallow.
