I really love both Chronos.

Yes, the time travel feature has more potencial than the different world one as one event in a time frame affects the future, but i deeply enjoyed both games. Trigger was incredibly ahead of the curve for its time and Cross had an amazingly stellar soundtrack and production values.

I never understood the need that fans of the original had to bash Cross when its a really good game. I also dont understand why square droped the series. It has the potencial to be a great series with the time travel feature or even world changing as the focus on the series. Bring out new stories, new characters. Dont feel the need to be stuck to the original and cross, even though that is amazing in its own right (just like Kingdom Hearts shows us, but then you get crybabies saying how convoluted the story is).

I say: bring it back square. I know the original creators dont all work at square anymore, but maybe that is a hint for a fresh start to the series. Go go Chrono series. Gaming needs it.

Yah, I agree that the Chrono series definitely should've lasted longer and had a few more games. It's really odd but I think there were some cases of executive meddling during the development of Cross. After Cross was released, it just seemed that Square gave up on the Chrono series which is a shame because I think given enough time, it would've been a well established series like FF and DQ.
