Administrations are given leeway to setup allergy protection measures, some schools mandate that you're not allowed to bring certain things into the classroom of a kid with that kind of allergy. So, it appears that it's mainly up to the school. There is talk of a 'nut ban' at schools, but it appears that even the parents of children w/ nut allergies, generally don't agree with the concept. |
