High scores are something to be won out of praise not absence of flaws, I'm sure Great bay temple wasn't the sole reason why it scored what it scored.
Y'all care way too much about scores. Majora's mask is a weird game and the temples are ugly. When I first played it through, I was thought it was the worse Zelda but still very enjoyable. Its only during my second play through that I done all the sidequests and realised they're what makes the games such a gem, not the main quest which is probably the worst in the series. Again not through being greatly flawed, but simply by not being as compelling as Ocarina/windwaker tec.
