In Mexico they use this veil the same way Virgen Maria uses it, and not like muslims uses it every got darn second even in their inside their homes, wtf?. In Mexico they use this kind of veil to cover herself from the sun or sadly when someone passes away but not all the freaking time!! like if someone was going to punish he/her if they don't use it, also the muslims cover their faces like freaking ninjas !! and those are not called veils I think those are called Hijabs/burkas or something:

 

 

 

You are brainwashed my friend, and as I said, you need to read before you answer next time. read and make your own openion about Veil and Islam, rather than posting pictures of other people, who may have other reasons to create a bad image about woman in Islam (oppression of woman image with jail bars).

So, nuns also wear veils to protect them from the Sun?? 

 

Veil is there to protect woman, and not as you mentioned.

 

I would recommend that you check this 10 minutes video which was filmed in Manhattan, NYC and see how people react to the same woman with and without a Veil.
