it's very relevant. If it doesn't take nearly as much time then it doesn't cost as much. Those savings in development should be passed on to consumers. You're obviously not buying the right SP games if you only get 12 hours out of them. Sure I'll only get 12 hours out of the order at first. But if it's good (looks like a game I'll like) then it's worth replaying countless times. It's like re-visiting a classic film over and over vs. watching a new episode of a daytime TV show every day. There's room for both but one is more quantity where you always get new stuff while the other is more quality as every corner is a part of a masterwork. There's room for both surely but I usually get more out of SP games hours wise than MP because I revisit them annually especially cinematic ones like Heavy Rain, Uncharted, The Order, and Batman

Please link us to factual analysis of developing a title like Evolve versus a SP game? Surely there must be tons of studies on this, you speak about it so factually. You don't seem to be taking into consideration ongoing server costs for online games, either. And you're downplaying the time it takes to design MP content versus SP. Most importantly balance of maps and characters/abilities.
Or maybe TR just drew up Lazarus on a piece of paper and put him right into the game, idk.

sure I have a link for all my sources

see my earlier post about why it doesn't take as much I'm not repeating myself

Oh, ok. I figured as much. I guess that explains how you can speak so factually about aspects that cannot be logically quantified, such as the amount of "care" that goes into a title. Thanks for the confirmation.
