Well, they did drop the price shortly after and gave free games for those who bought it at launch, so Ninten made some steps to fix the price issue. Sony stood by their price for a long time, which I think hurt them in the end.

Yeah, but I would've prefered Vita hardware power + Nintendo games lol.
