PS: To those dragging in other games when speaking of game length, bear in mind that this discussion isn't taking place in a vacuum. When looking at game length, we are often looking at what you do in game, the quality of the systems, the amount of actual gameplay and more to decide whether the game's length justifies its cost. I cannot speak for everyone else or all of the other games that are being dragged into this discussion, but throwing them up as a shield in no way strengthens your argument. If The Order doesn't stand on its own two feet, it deserves to be criticized. Feel free to debate that ad nauseam, but please stop trying to throw up shields to validate anything. Tell us what you think The Order does that validates its price, because I have really yet to see much of anything but some pretty cutscenes.... |
Sounds a lot like MGS4 to me, and it is a good game, now all of a sudden it is a bad thing in The Order 1886, and its focus is storytelling. Mind blown.
It seems to me people stop concidering games for their fun factor, and storytelling.
