...so you are essentially comparing speedruns for experts to casual first time playthroughs?

casual first timers can skip all the cutscenes, and/or play on easiest difficultly and finish it within 5-8 hours if they enjoy dying and killing enemies. Take it from someone who actually plays MGS, like myself. You can finish the game in less than 5 hours and not get Big Boss rank.
