I preffer the bigger screen for many of the above listed applications. Plus I can hook up a wireless mouse and keyboard to give me a less combersome control method. Having all of this on XBO and Windows Phone would allow you to choose which to use, and allow quicker access. If you leave the phone in the car, the bedroom, or have it charging, you can hit this kind of stuff up in two seconds, and be right back to your game, show, or whatever. No need to get up. For me the benifits of it beinging there are much greater than if it is not.

I guess you are correct, but I don't see it being widely used. The way I look at it, all this W10 talk will serve to benefit Lumia and Surface sales much more than it will sell XBoxes. Sure, any extra sale is welcome, but I simply don't see it as a selling point. Both Lumia and Surface today have a very minor market share, and I am sure MS will push those two much much harder in order to gain ground.

It is 2015, and gaming consoles have basically only one selling point - games! It's not 2002 that people need a DVD player, or 2009 that people are willing to pay for a BluRay player. Today, you can get any other feature on phones that everybody owns, or tablets, you can get TV directly via internet without extra boxes or HDMI pass throughs, ir stream via a $39 device. Again, any extra feature a console offers is a great bonus, but if someone has no interest in console gaming, they will never buy a console for those other features.
