Destiny - 6.5/10
- Campaign was pretty short and they throw their DLC in your face whenever they can. "Want this sweet upgraded gun? Must buy the DLC". They multiplayer is fun when you get people of your similar level (which is rare). It's not balanced well and you'll get owned by players with unbalanced guns that kill you in under a second while you are forced to shoot them 6 times slowly with the most powerful gun you've gotten so far. Some other smaller issues just add on to the frustration, but all in all it's fun for the time being, but once I find a better game this one will be collecting dust. I think Activision rushed Bungie on this one and it shows.
Far Cry 4 - 7.5/10
- Your typical far cry campaign... Voice acting and story are mediocre but the real fun comes from the free roam and countless options of things you can do in the huge map. Wildlife is great, gun choices are decent, but all in all it's just fun to roam around and cause mayhem. The multiplayer is what brings this game down. Far Cry 3 had a solid online experience with the only real problem being slight lag sometimes, matchmaking with a party was difficult, and it was region locked. Far Cry 4 completely changed the game and there are only 3 modes now (not one of them is players with guns vs players with guns), and they have giant maps with small number of players on them. Really disappointed in the online.
