First of all, there have been countless tests and studies about the effects of vaccines. Here is one website with a number of links to scientific studies relating to autism and vaccinations (what most people are concerned about) - http://www.autismsciencefoundation.org/autismandvaccines.html Second, there can potentially be negative effects from vaccinations. In very rare cases it is possible to be allergic to vaccines, or if you are immune compromised, it is possible to get sick from the flu vaccine. This is why you are instructed to non get vaccinated if you have an immune system deficiency. However, that is also why those of us who are healthy should get vaccinated. This doesn't just affect those who are ignorant enough to refuse vaccination, but also everybody around them, including those who cannot physically get vaccinated. Third, it is important to not that we aren't really talking about seasonal flu vaccinations. We are talking about vaccinations such as the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) Vaccine. These diseases aren't simply a two week cough, they are very serious viruses which can lead to brain damage, meningitis or death. Finally, read your conclusion again...really? These diseases would die out if people would stop spreading them? That quite an ignorant thing to say. You do realize that you are often contagious before you even begin to show symptoms, correct? Also, viruses like measles can hang in the air for up to two hours after someone sneezes...this isn't as simple as you are making it out to be. |
Yeah BUT
There is alot if crap vaccine and they could make vaccine without the negative side effects (like the one the German government used) but they dont want to.
Also in a theoretical future where everyone would be "non-lazy" and wash hands and e.g sneeze into shoulders etc. (health scanners that lock you into your apartment would be welcome!) how would some virus end up in the air if noone would spread it exactly?
How would you be contagious if you could not get it from anyone?
And even if you would be because someone sneezed so fast he could not sneeze into his armpit/shoulder how big are the chances you do the same especially when you wear a mask?
I simplified that issue way to much I know but Its also not as complicated as you make it look.
And even dropping vaccine usage by 50% would be a WIN for humanity.
