Ponce de Leon is easy with archmage. Flame Barrier him to death while he slowly follows you around the room... in all honesty flame barrier works great on like every boss. Its also how I beat the lower area boss. Now if I only I could beat the final boss, I feel like I need to grind a little more as Im coming really close but just falling short every time.
