Well, people choose to see the things by the side they find it better. That's just how it is. At least the PS3 is hinting well enough the consistent between it sales and shippment numbers, so that's okay, I just hope Sony do a price cut by this E3. A new model would be awesome but seems more like a wish than reality to me, I would love to get a tiny PS3 as I got with the PS1 and PS2. My SuperSlim is comfortably small but I would love that to happen.

Yea, the PS3 is long overdue for a pricecut.  I would imagine a cut would come with the PS4's cut to $299/$349.  Hopefully a cut to $149 for the 12GB SKU and $199 for the 500GB SKU. Especially if the PS4 cuts to $299.  A 500GB PS3 for only $50 less is way too much to ask for.    And I'm sure the PS3 revisions are over.  2 is enough.

I would love a final Wii/PSTwo sized PSThree revision. I find it unlikely though as we would get leaks and FCC docs for revisions and so forth prior to it being released/announced. Sony would have to be confident they would sell another 15-20 million PS3s in order to make a revision worth it though.

Sony will only do it if they can make money off the machine (or at worse, break even). Current Lego 3 + Sly collection for $249 and Disney Infinity 12GB for $199 tells me that Sony can possibly drop at least $50 from each SKU comfortably.

I hope we get a $129-$149 PS3 core SKU and a $169-$199 500GB PS3. Ideally announced by E3 2015. Cut the PS4 price (with or without a slim version) starting in October for the big holiday quarter. So, sony would have a $299 PS4 and a $129-$149 PS3 SKU for the holidays. No need to drop the price on the vita, it's a dead product, get as much profit as you can on the machine before it completely dies out.
