Damn. I was just about to post that. If that is indeed the hardware pie, then the PS4 sold 26.11% more units than the XBO, which makes it roughly a 5:4 margin in the PS4's favor.

Now, for the numbers. If the Wii U did sell 63k and it's the purple part of the pie, that means this is a plausible NPD result (rounded to the nearly thousand):

PS4: 307k
XBO: 243k
3DS: 102k
Wii U: 63k

The problem with these is that the pie is that the pie has six sections, but there are seven systems still on sale: PS4, XBO, Wii U, PS3, 360, 3DS, Vita. So, my estimates may be in error. There's also no guarantee that the purple section is indeed the Wii U. So, don't quote me on these numbers just yet.

People are saying/assuming that might be all home console hardware.
