Having no PS+ edition released yet for Driveclub has no actual bearing on its functionality as a game though. It's worked flawlessly for months now with a bevy of post launch updates + DLC. That doesn't seem like a mess so much as a douchey business decision (the no PS+ edition yet).
Can't speak for Unity and won't speak for MCC.
