So I'm finally done with school and can face my game development career properly. I start researching the competition (I'm Nigerian. Was looking for African gae devs) and find these guys. They just put their game, Aurion, legacy of the Ori-Odan up n Steam greenlight and traffic exploded. You can't even access their website, www.kiroogames.com, because as they said to me on twitter when I asked if their site was down, " yeah sorry it seems we had too more trafic the proviider cut it for the moment we will take a dedicated server soon". Even Kotaku posted an article about the game http://kotaku.com/not-every-fantasy-world-has-to-be-european-1685083542

I know you've seen better games before, but this is pretty awesome for something developed in Cameroon. I haven't gotten to South African devs yet in my research so I might still find some other really awesome stuff.

If you want South African devs look no further than ( http://www.makegamessa.com ). Its got a really active and helpful community. One of the guys who worked on Broforce is a regular there, a decent amount of games posted there eventually get greenlit. I got really helpful and brutally honest advice from them woth my own "game" as well ( http://makegamessa.com/discussion/1972/the-scnd-genesis/p1 ). Its your best shot at finding an active African dev community so start there. Im not sure about the West or East African scene. Our local scene is non existant but interest is growning. When my first attempt at making a "game" got a random review on a random blog that very few people have ever heard of I got inspired to do a followup (https://indiegraph.wordpress.com/2012/02/22/scnd-genesis-legends-review/). Its surprisingly easy to get into but you have to be fairly good, surround yourself with the right people and be persistent. You also have to learn how to take criticism, both legit and trolling, cause you get it a lot.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
