It was a jack of all trades that incorporated racing, a GTA-like overworld and felt like a poor man's Ratchet & Clank during its jump&shoot sections. None of its elements were particularly good, so in a way its quality is similar to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts which was also a mixed bag. The original Banjo-Kazooie is probably the finest 3D platformer collectathon ever made, the sequel Banjo-Tooie struggled because of its overambition and made everything much bigger than it needed to be. |
Did you like Jak 3 though? Yeah I guess it wasn't much of a platformer( I only added it just to mention what I played and I love the desert with a dune buggy to roam them with :D).
