I mentioned this before but I'll say it very briefly again. I had a terrible experience with Kickstarter. Never expected to be an investor (why would I?), but I backed a project in like January 2012 and it was supposed to be released in March 2012 . It wasn't overly ambitious and I didn't spend much money but I expected it to be out by at least Summer 2012, a time when vita had zero RPGs.
Well, it's February 2015 and in the last e-mail that the creator sent us, the backers, he mentioned how it's only taking so long because they're working on it in their spare time and that he decided to make it more ambitious and add this and that. That's not the game I backed and it was supposed to be out in a month or two. 3 years is a joke. Obviously not every project will turn out like that, but I refuse to take a risk again. Unless there are some strict rules implemented, I won't back another project no matter how promising it seems.
