That's not true. There is a reason why the sanctions have lasted this long. Tons of old cubans in the battleground state pf Florida still care 

So a completely useless policy, which has not really benifited anyone should be keep up for the sole purpose of winning elections by pandering to a specific group of people.... wait wait, I think that is basically what politics is about.
