dual core and 2GB of ram? They are using bottom of the line budget examples of specs that aren't recommended, they are more options you take that will let you play games with some performance sacrifices. even the average HTPC has more than that these days. seriously an i5 and 8GB of ram has been the recommended gaming spec for 5 years now, a 2GB graphics card isn't really mediocre either, there are plenty of mid-highend cards in that range and unless you are gaming above 1080p they perform exceptionally well. that article is all around terrible.
