A four choice system is too limited imho. Plus idk why people assume that viewers who just scrolled down to see the scores will now read the reviews. They'll just scroll down to see the recommendation.
Reviews having scores isn't the problem. The shitty logic behind scores and the elimination of pretty much everything under a 6 or so, is the problem. Back when magazines like EGM and Gamefan were around, a 6.5 could still be a very good game. Nowadays a 6.5 is pretty much considered trash. Hell, even a 7.5 is like.. average or something to most people it seems.
Fix that, don't take scores away imho. They were off to a good start in some situations this gen, too.
