I buy games digitally only.
There are games that I know I will buy regardless of any review or problem (this year those are: Dying Light, The Order, Borderlands Remaster, MLB and Uncharted 4). Those games I always preorder in advance, but mainly because I can preload them and have them ready to go immediately.
Then there are other games that I am not sure about. No preorder bonus can convince me to buy them before I get positive feedback on them.
My opinion is that preorders are OK, if people do them I don't mind, but those people have only themselves to blame if they preorder a broken or crappy game.
