"Big player" is an overstatement since it'll be very hard to muster up just above 12 million home console units this generation ...
The other countries by comparison on last generation was able to account for roughly 30 million home consoles ...
If we assume a similar growth rate compared to last generation there should be around 35 milion console owners. The PS4 could possibly even match the greatness that was PS2 when it came to other territories!
Japan becoming a small fry when it comes to the console gaming market is now a reality ...
