I did not see one person here mention the fact that besides getting it early you can turn around and sell it on e-bay for 4 times what it's worth. Which like 20 people I know did and made thousands off the 360 and PS3.
SO making at least $1,000 for standing in line for one day yeah that sounds worth it.
As for after opening day well if you can afford it and you want the games why would you wait?
