i can't believe radioshack lasted this long. really this should have happened years ago. bestbuy isn't doing so well either and probably won't last more than a few more years too.
brick and mortar stores are going to have trouble competing against online especially in segments where the need to see the physical item isn't necessary. i always buy my clothes at a store because i want to try it on first. i always buy my groceries at a store because i want to pick out the best fruit and vegetables.
..but a movie is a movie no matter where i buy it and the box cover is the last thing that sells me on the purchase. i'd rather be online where i can watch a trailer to make my decision. a phone is a phone no matter where i buy it and the physical entity is only a minor part of my purchase decision. what i really want to know is what app compatibility/ect it has and for that i'm going to an online review that details it not some dumbass of a high school kid working at the store.
