Sony's drop is due to the competition doing a better job. Microsoft was force to discount their hardware and Nintendo now has quite a few games worth owning a WiiU to play. Last year at this time PS4 was cheaper and superior consoles while Microsoft kept shooting themselves in the foot. This year the PS4 is slightly superior more expensive console then Xbox One. The PS4 is still the market leader but the competition is adapting and taking a slightly larger piece of the pie.

PS4 is about to get two major boost when The Order: 1886 & Bloodborne release. These two titles should Improve PS4 2015 YTY comparison.

I don't think so, if you look at last year, you will see that when the initial launch frenzy settled, the PS4 settled into a baseline at $400 that is very similar to what we are seeing now. 140k-160k/week. Most of its weekly sales fell into that range outside notable game releases, region launches and the holiday season. Right now, the PS4 being right back to 150k just suggests its settled right back into its baseline, which should be expected. this is not indicative of the competition doing better, cause its baseline hasn't changed and its still priced the same.

The increased sales of the XB1 however simply show that at its lower price its selling better, which should also be expected. If the PS4 is averaging an all new baseline lower than anything it had last year, then we can reduce that its losing sales to the XB1. But that's not the case.
