But this is a strange Kirby, the sequel of one of the lowest selling Kirbys ever (and of the bigest critical success on the saga), Canvas Curse , in the worst selling Nintendo console ever... I think it´s pretty good for a low budget game like this, has been 3º on japan fw, and on its second week is still on the top 10 selling games (and probably on the third too) With only 9 days has sell +45k and is the 11º best selling game of january, is pretty good, i was worried because i thought it might be a BOMBA but is not, and on his first week outsold Fatal Frame V and Captain Toad fw, and we know that Captain Toad is doing very fine there.

Canvas Curse sold around 150% better in its first two weeks on an install base even smaller than the Wii U's.  This isn't a favorable comparison for Rainbow Curse.  It has also had 11 days on sale over the first two weeks of tracking.  I don't know what it is about Nintendo software where people constantly get the number of days wrong.

Captain Toad sold better in week 2, and Kirby has little to no chance of keeping up with its holiday performance.  I don't even know why you'd compare it to Fatal Frame.  The last Kirby game on consoles sold about double the entire Fatal Frame series in Japan.  Speaking of Fatal Frame, VGC seems to have the Wii port of 2 massively overtracked.  Media Create has it at around 47k in 2012 and 3k in 2013.  VGC has it at 74k in 2012, and 22k in 2013.

So 45k isn't just not a bomb, but it is "pretty good"?  If that is pretty good how bad would it need to sell to be a bomb?  Devil Survivor 2 sold more with just 4 days on sale.  That's a series that has historically been much smaller than Kirby.  Far Cry 4 sold more than Kirby in 4 days as well.  Again, historically much smaller than Kirby.  The PS4 version alone did more than Kirby's first week, and that is on an install base half the size.
