Admittedly, I had soured to Persona 4 over the years of Atlus shoving it in our faces and devolving the once fleshed out characters into one-note caricatures. It had caused my interest in Persona 5 to drop significantly, since I was afraid it was going to be too much like P4...
That said, my interest has now been renewed! It definitely looks like a much larger leap than P3 to P4 as far as gameplay. The story seems to be the complete opposite of P4 as well. Instead of a group investigating a crime, it seems to be a group perpetrating crimes/a group of vigilantes. I wonder if the team is limited to those four characters? I imagine there will be more revealed in the future, but I don't think I would mind fewer characters if it means they get a stronger focus.
