If you don't think Pearl Diamond will exceed Ruby / Sapphire then you are extremely stupid. In fact, it could very well reach Gold/Silver numbers and beyond eventually.
And yes, DQIX has a great chance of beating DQVII. DS is on track to be the biggest hardware and software mover of all time on the Japanese market.
