Many people really want this game to be bad, that´s why they made a big deal about something so small. Smash and Mario Kart 8 are great without the chat voice.

Yes, and voicechat is overrated. Who would want to listen to anyone other their friends anyway? 95% of the time you'd get whiny, swearing children, while everyone else's mic sh*ts all over the place.
