Yeah it shouldn't really be a problem as long as there is still voice chat with friends. I don't know about anyone else but I always mute anyone that isn't a friend when playing online anyways

I turned off voice chat pretty much after playing call of Duty back in the day ever since I heard a 10 year old arguing with his mom about his bed time and he wanted to stay up longer.
