Even back in the fifth generation I didn't care for Sony's controllers. I bought a PS1 in 1998 and I found I still preferred the N64 controller. It's just the way PlayStation controllers were shaped for three generations straight that bugged me. They just didn't feel comfortable in my hands. I really like the DS4, though, even more than the XBO controller (I do still prefer asymmetrical analog sticks, though, but symmetrical sticks are fine if the controller is good enough). |
I like symmetrical. I'm glad Nintendo didn't copy that from Xbox though I wish theirs were down where the DS ones are. That and the triggers are pretty much my only gripes with the Pro Controller though
