What would you guys think of a 30fps/60fps toggle on most console games?

The toggle doesn't do what the subject of the thread is about. All it does is make the game go from 30-45, down to 30. 

Regardless if it went up to 60 or not, the game has the feature that you're asking about. As in locking framerate, or making it unlimited.
