So I was looking at Monster Hunter sales here on vgchartz when I noticed that Monster Hunter has been an annual franchise in Japan ever since the series debuted in 2004.

2006-Monster Hunter 2 (PS2)
2007-Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (PSP)
2008-Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (PSP)
2009-Monster Hunter Tri (Wii)
2010-Monster Hunter Freedom 3 (PSP)
2011-Monster Hunter 3G/Freedom 3 HD (3DS/PS3)
2012-Monster Hunter 3G HD (Wii U)
2013-Monster Hunter 4 (3DS)
2014-Monster Hunter 4G (3DS)
So like the thread title asks, will Japan see this trend continue and get a Monster Hunter game in 2015? I personally can't see MH5 releasing yet and I don't think 3DS will get another MH4 expansion. The most likely scenario, in my opinion, is that Wii U will get a MH4 HD this holiday.
