I disagree. I think they should keep trying.

Like I said, it's not like they don't have any Japanese games coming. They got things like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts coming to the Xbox One.

 

It would probably take a while but if Microsoft actually advertised the Xbox in Japan as a system where you can get all these Japanese games on it would probably be selling much better. Which is why my question is why is it that they don't advertise these games for the Xbox One in Japan?

The only time I ever saw an Xbox One Japan ad (I saw it on the Xbox Japan youtube channel a while ago) it had mostly American gamesand only a few Japanese ones like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

The thing about the XBox getting some Japanese games is that they tried that with the 360. They had games like Tales of Vesparia, Eternal Sonata, and Gal Gun, to name a few, and they ended up making PS3 versions with more content. So people didn`t bother with the 360 versions anymore. I would find the 360 versions for 5-6 USDs each. It was pretty bad to see. Perhaps it could work if they kept those games on MS consoles, but if there is a PS version too, hardly anyone is going to care, and it won`t be worth it for some of these Japanese devs to do so. The Xbox in Japan is in a weird place that doesn`t really make a place for itself. PS pretty much has covered what the Xbox can do, and Ninten is unique enough that people still like them.

I remember seeing pictures about the launch day for Xbox 1, which shows accurately what they think about it, which is not very good.

Sorry, but I`m on the side that they should quit now and save themselves the trouble and money.
