Or close to $18.00 /sensor in mass production it will of course drop further in price/sensor but look at which companies use the sensors in smart phones, you would be surprised who buy's them for the smart phone's they make.

Apple for One...lol

THat Apple uses them is a good thing for now.  THe problem is that Apple is not loyal to its compnent providers.  THey often use them for one or two generations and jump to the latest and greatest to provide a different thing.  So, they may only use these sensors for 2-3 years.  Of course, Sony can still supply them to other cell makers for the lower end phones over time.
