THat Apple uses them is a good thing for now. THe problem is that Apple is not loyal to its compnent providers. THey often use them for one or two generations and jump to the latest and greatest to provide a different thing. So, they may only use these sensors for 2-3 years. Of course, Sony can still supply them to other cell makers for the lower end phones over time.
