Well, I have to admit that the whole logic behind console games having install times really chaps my hide. No installing of anything is one of the major benefits to console gaming vs pc's.

Granted if it were a mere minute or two, then no biggie. But, when you start to get to the 10min mark, you have really out done yourself.

-1 for Sony in my view for the many games lately with installs.

I agree... one of the bests thing about consoles is that you can just pic any game out of your collection at any time, pop it in and play... once you have to install and uninstall games that feeling is gone... it´s no biggie but still the Wii and 360 have that as an advantage over the PS3 IMO

Install times suck.  We all know.

But unless you plan on deleting the 1 or 2 gigs of data that gets installed on it after every time you play it, you can still pop it in and play.

I too think that all this install BS should stop, but many people obviously don't really care.  Take a look at DMC4 sales, which have sold better on the 22-minute-installing PS3 version rather than the Pop-in-and-play 360 version.  The only people who don't like installs are people who are looking for a reason to not like the PS3 for whatever reason, it's really not that big of a deal, as the sales show us.
