Are you telling me that Max Payne, MGS and Splinter Cell follows Sony game philosophy that started in 2007? Get out of here STAGE.

You could say the same about Sony, since the beginning of 7th gen they been looking for a Halo killer with no success. Now they tried a Forza killer and they miserably failed.

Max Payne, MGS and Splinter Cell are not what I am talking about. I am talking about the companies style. Almost every AAA they make has a distinct cinematic quality to it.

As for Halo....Sony has given up on trying to find another Halo. They need to focus on being Sony. Only then will Microsoft be forced to give chase.

P.S.

MS bought Halo...so there is nothing there to attribute to their creativity.

Max Payne, MGS and Splinter Cell were the cinematic kings before it was a hip thing between gaming fans.

MS made Halo.

Until MS bought Bungie, the latter didn'thave a clear idea on how to give direction to their tech demo.

MS gave Bungie story, gameplay and a new trend to set on the industry: high production value.
