Its a setting which will make your textures (or objects in the scene) look better when looking at them from a funny angle

Like BHR said its cuz they're trying to push 1080 and a high LOD, with a good viewing distance

the promblem is the ps4 LOD is less than PCs 0% setting

other games where AF is an issue on ps4 thief, strider, murdered soul suspect and now dying light
