Ain't nobody got time for that upscaling blur :p (well, i don't anyway).
I probably wouldn't have minded if both versions were 1536x1080 though. I'd always take a pixel perfect resolution over graphical fidelity (just a personal preference), but that's not a major difference. They could have done to drop the X1's a tad more though. If they wanted to stick with the vertical-only upscaling then 1328x1080 (a 900p equivalent) would probably have made more sense.
