You didn't address my statement about efficiency though. Just because more people see an advertisement doesn't mean that said advertisement will sell more games. It is also about how effective the advertisement would be. You kind of used PC gaming as an example, but one would argue that there are no advertisers of PC gaming, so it was an industry that would've benefitted much more from a celebrity than an industry that already had advertisement (console gaming.)
