What is casual? (thats a rhetorical question.)
Those games don't float their boats?
The reason is simple if what your assessing is true, those games are too niche in japan.
People don't turn, their given options, maybe they liked their options, hence the market making it's decision.
My point was that on the developer end the PS3 is getting a lot of love, so don't knock it or despair about it.
And friggin whats this about the PS3 struggling in the casual gamer market, when they never intended to go for the so called casual market?
Hell Nintendo went for it sure so did Popcap their loving it at the moment, but their not competeing with anything the PS3 intended to go for.
What killed the PS3 early on was the price point, forget the Wii's price, like they said it isn't competeing with the PS3 their two different markets.
If anything gandering this as the wii being a console then the PS3 would be invading the Wii's market, which isn't totally accesible now because of the price point. (Clearly casuals don't care enough about HD)
Whats this mean? Sony over shot the market boom. So yes those forementioned 5 games will save the PS3 they will attract the crowd they were aiming for. It's just now people have options in genres.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
