Oh, no, another whiny indie developer who thinks that as soon as he makes an 8-bit game, it's an instant piece of art and should not be criticized.
First, unlike OP noticed, I tend to only like YouTube videos. I watch it, enjoy it, make an effort to give it thumbs up. If I dislike the video, I just close the tab and move on.
Second, I couldn't give two craps about 8-bit indies on PS4. Sure, let them exist, the more the merrier, no money out of my pocket. But I simply don't understand people who buy a console and then pay $10-20 for a game that looks better as a $1.99 smartphone download.
