i'd like to say sony because so much of their first party still isn't announced. ...but sony also makes announcements at gamescom and tgs and the video game awards and apparently the playstation experience. realistically it will be hard for sony to have 1/4 of their years announcements go up against all of ms's announcements for the year.

so ms.

i couldn't care less what nintendo announces even if it is "good".

That's not what's being asked, re: nintendo. Not that i think nintendo'll win, but just because i don't personally care about Microsoft or Sony (and i don't) doesn't mean that i don't consider the possibilities.

you can't deny the absolute truth that Imaginedvl said though.   augen gave a great example of it in practise too.  the gap in tastes between nintendo fans is pretty big compared to MSony fans.   nintendo fans can enjoy things like toad's treasure tracker or splatoon or mario party or yoshi's world of yarn and completely dismiss things like TLoU and the order and bloodborne ect. and so forth.  i'll be the same but opposite.

fair or not it is the reality that each person declares the winner with a massive bias for personal tastes in gaming.

I know, but folks can always do that. It's easier to look at it objectively, taking the measure of media buzz created or the strategic worth of different decisions.
