Actually the risk is only greater for man on man sex because the rectal tissue is more prone to micro-tears than the vaginal canal, and thus the pathway for successfully transmitting a carried desease is higher.
But then, if youre having sex with someone carrying stds, and they havent beem honest about it, and thus taken due precautions, the problem isn't that they have stds, the problem is that theyre douchebags.
So lets be straight here, anal sex is more of an issuethan sexual persuasion.
